Moontalon was just padding around marking the borders, he didnt really need a whole lot of cats to help him mark the borders, being such a small clan, they should be hunting. He was padding along Fourpines and the Ivyclan boarder, a stream. He marked a tree next to the stream and he sented something foul. He got closer and closer to the smell until he dicovered Rougeheart, Ivyclans deputy, washed up on some sand next to the stream. He was horrifyed and wondered if Ivyclan was awear. But if they werent he would acuse Earthclan of doing it. He ran along the stream until he sented Ivyclan, in Fourpines, he padded up and sniffed around. Firespark was sitting in the middle of Fourpines, tail wrapped around his paws, grin on his face like hed done something awful. Could Firespark have done it...? he wondered, but that was not his problem he had to tell him.
"Firespark!" he said out of breath.
Firesparks grin had not disapeared but instead it grew "What your clan needs me to?" he meowed matter a factly
Moontalon had no idea what he was talking about, "No, what? Rougeheart! Shes on the side of the stream."
Firesparks grin disapeared instatly. "Well why are you standing there, we have to go help her, did she fall in?!"
Moontalon shook his head, "No, Firespark, shes in the middle of the stream, caught on some land, Firespark.... Shes dead." he mewed softly.
Firespark was caught off gaurd, he didnt know what to say, "I-- have to tell Shadowstar..."
Moontalon nodded, "Yes go, Im sorry for your clans loss."
Firespark padded out of Fourpines, he had to know for sure, and he smelt the same foul smell Moontalon had smelt, he followed it until he saw her, Rougeheart was in the middle of the stream caught on some sand. He couldnt stand for her to be like that, he jumped to the middle and tryed to bring her to shore, Rougehearts wet fur sliped from his teeth and her body floated down the stream. Firespark was unable to catch up to her and eventually lost her to the waters. He was devastated and he ran all the way back to camp.
(lol i guess this was just kinda a explaination. cuz imma make one in camp. where he tells shadowstar)(so dont reply)
