several starry cats were gathered at Fourpines, discussing futures of the new Clans "Scarstar and Willowshade have done well. They have started the four Clans, and the other that we have chosen will soon rise to the destinies laid out for them."
"Yes, but what about Snowblaze?" mewed a gray tom
"What about him?" hissed a black tom, a past ShadowClan warrior "He will be a good warrior, he has great skills..."
'But does he have loyalty? He has too much ambition and not enough patience. We chose leaders already. There is a possibilty he will one day be a fine leader, but there is no point in changing things now."
"What if we chose wrong?" countered the black cat and the other cats hissed
"No. Only time will tell how good of leaders they are, but I think they have what it takes. Snowblaze will have to wait..."
"Try telling him that..." mutterd the gray tom
"What about Echoshatter?" piped up a small brown she-cat. "She wishes to be medicine cat. Do we approve?"
"Hmmm. Leaders are much easier to find than medicine cats. They will need faith in us, of course..."
"But that will come with time. Trust cannot simply be given, and we are new to all of them. The clans have been gone many seasons, and even though warrior blood still stirs in their veins, it will take awhile to reawaken their warrior spirits. Echoshatter doesn't totally reject us. She will earn our trust as she will earn ours."
"If her brother doesn't brainwash her!" the gray tom yowled.
"Even Snowblaze couldn't be that trecherous, could he?"
"We haven't seen that far into things, but only time will tell..."
